Your Yoga retreat begins at the Tambor airport, we will arrange everything from there. Most all international flights into Costa Rica arrive into the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose, Costa Rica. Many major US airlines operate directly to Costa Rica including United, Delta, US, Continental, American and more. We have found reasonable prices through www.travelocity.com. From San Jose we highly recommend you book a short, 35 minute, flight from San Jose to the Tambor airport. Alternatively it is a 6-8 hour drive and ferry ride from San Jose to Santa Teressa, much of which is spent on dirt roads.
Two airlines, Sansa Regional and Nature Air, operate approximately 5 domestic flights from San Jose to Tambor daily and range from $30-$75 one way. Please visit http://www.flysansa.com or http://www.natureair.com to book your domestic flights. Plan to arrive anytime on Saturday, April 17, 2010 and depart anytime Saturday, April 24, 2010 we will arrange for everything in between.
